By default, all product sales are AS IS and exclude warranty. If you need the product to include warranty, you will need to actively select the applicable warranty option. Please note that regardless warranty is opted for or not the same products are provided. If a warranty selection option is not available on a given product, please contact Customer Service.
Warranty Periods

No Warranty is applicable to the following product groups. Even if requested during the product ordering processes.
- Hobby batteries
- Customised products and battery packs
- Products failing due to customer misuse or neglect
Warranty Eligibility
Due to the high cost of labour & equipment used for checking warranty eligibility a $25.00 surcharge will be charged for goods returned as faulty yet found to be in good working order (in addition to return shipping and handling charges). All tests conducted by the supplier on goods returned are to internationally recognised standards. Testing procedures outside of these standards conducted by the returnee of goods will not be recognised as the goods being faulty. Goods found to be not covered by warranty will be returned with this surcharge and at the customers cost. Shipping and Handling chargers are not covered by warranty and are to be borne by the customer.
Upon returning goods we require that a letter containing as comprehensive as possible advice is given as to the nature of the suspected fault of the product accompanies returned goods. When returning goods please include a copy of the invoice noting when the goods were received. Please circle the returned item/s and write a quantity. The customer must obtain a Return Goods Authority form us before returning any goods. Goods returned without required authorisation or paperwork will be deemed as a free gift to us, with the customer relinquishing all claim to warranty and/or refund of monies due.
We reserve the right not to accept return of goods when they are:
Purchased "as is" and without warranty.
Specifically manufactured at the customers request (i.e. custom made).
Specially ordered in on the customers behalf (i.e. Indent products).
Goods that have been in the customer's possession for a reasonable time and are requested by the customer to be returned to us after such time has elapsed that the goods are out of warranty, near or past their expiry date. Goods that have been damaged or had packaging damaged or removed.
Important things to note:
Soldering directly to cells or batteries voids warranty.
Inappropriate usage voids warranty.
Usage outside of the manufacturer's specifications voids warranty.
A flat, or dead, battery is not a claim.
Warranty does not cover shipping costs to/from YankeeRoo.
Warranty processing may take a few weeks.
Warranty for "As Is" Purchases
If you have inadvertently checked out and completed your order "as is" and without opting for warranty, should you contact us within 3 calendar days from date of order we will allow you to change the warranty status to include standard product warranty for 25% of the purchase price; afterwhich you will be unable to change the warranty status for the order.When purchasing products "As Is" and without warranty, the customer accepts all risks associated with product malfunction, shipping damage, and/or any other cause of inoperability of the item. If you'd prefer to not carry this risk, please ensure that you opt for warranty inclusion at time of checkout.
