We recommend using the enclosed Sanyo 2500mAh NiMH cells as these are the worlds best performing AA NiMH cell at the time of writing however other brand rechargeables & even AA alkaline or carbon batteries may be used to give you a C size battery for use in applications requiring this size of battery.
